THE MASTER RAPPER.

I was browsing my Multiply inbox when I saw a post that said “Long Live the Master Rapper.” Without even reading what the post says, I kind of already knew what it’s about. Lantad naman sa publiko na he’s fighting a sickness diba kaya madali na ma-predict na darating ang araw na mangyayari ito. I was just not expecting that it would be this soon.. last update I’ve heard about Francis M prior to his death was that he was hospitalized for an operation. So to hear about this death.. it was just sooo sudden, I think.

Hindi ako super fan ni Francis M. but the mere fact na nasubaybayan ko somehow ung career nya made me sad about his death. Ganun pala yun no? Kahit hindi ako super fan at kahit hindi ako friend/family friend/acquaintance or whatever, napaluha ako sa panonood ng mga news. Call me pathetic all you want, the hell I care.

Hindi ako magsasabi ng kung anu-anong good stuff about him.. I’m not going to say na I have looked up to him or na idol ko sya or anything of the sort coz that would all be a lie. He was just an ordinary artist for me kahit magaling sha. Na-appreciate ko ang talent nya pero never ako nagdownload ng mp3 ng songs nya. Never akong bumili ng clothing nya. In short, I didn’t care that much about him… ngayon lang.

And now that he’s gone,  all I can say is that he’s a really great loss – sa music industry, most especially. Isa kasi sha sa mga magagaling na OPM artists na sobrang nagpapakita ng nationalism e. Eh in the present generation pa naman, we all know that we badly need artists like him. It’s just so sad that he’s gone now. Well, at least he gave it a good fight. And he can finally rest.

Visiting his blog, I can say, it was a happy battle for him after all. Just like what they said in the blog’s homepage:
